Josie was born in 2000 and raised in Vincennes. She earned her associate degree Cum Laude from Vincennes University before graduating Vincennes Lincoln High School in 2019.

She attended the University of Evansville, in Evansville, Indiana, obtaining her Bachelor of Science in Political Science (specialization in Pre-Law) in 2021 with Honors. During her time at the University of Evansville, she was a founding member and President of an organization named Aces Bettering Learning for Everyone “ABLE”, a student organization for individuals with disabilities with a mission to raise awareness of disabilities, educate the campus community, advocate for change, and offer support to students.

She then attended Southern Illinois University School of Law in Carbondale, Illinois, earning her Juris Doctorate in 2024. During her time at Southern Illinois, Josie worked as a student attorney for SIU’s Civil Practice Clinic, specializing in elder law and guardianships.

She has worked at Kolb Roellgen and Traylor since 2023.
